Typical projects for this post production facility include feature films, documentaries, TV series, commercials, music videos, sports programming, and more.
• Discuss new projects with clients, assess their needs, determine if the project will be finished in HD, UHD, or 4K and discuss best workflows, and identify any potential issues ahead of time.
• Assist the colorists throughout the entire online process.
• Process all necessary frame rate conversions using the Alchemist XF and Teranex 2D.
• Create all deliverables (meeting required specs and delivery dates for festivals, networks, and distributors), including: DCPs, Quicktimes (and other file formats), tape masters, BluRays, and DVDs.
• Perform QC checks on all final deliverables.
• Coordinate shipping and delivery of client media and deliverables.
• Manage progress of ongoing (and often overlapping) projects to ensure deadlines are met.
